Description: This video was particularly challenging because it was entirely in black and white, and wanted to test our ability to entertain and retain the audience using only visuals, movement, and text animations. We employed several approaches and tools to achieve this. We utilized After Effects’ time remap function to ensure smooth transitions between clips, and Rotobrush 3.0 to mask all the footage. The black-and-white color correction was created using LUTs that we developed in Premiere Pro. Additionally, we applied dynamic visual methods to direct the viewer’s attention to specific elements in the video, such as the “BPD” animation or the spinning “I Miss You” text. The video’s content reflects a personal journey, serving as a form of artistic expression where every element contributes to the overall narrative. In the end, this work stands as a piece of art, a representation of an inner world, and an exploration of pushing creative boundaries.
